WorkBuddy Oy values the privacy of its customers and employees and is committed to protecting it in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation.

 

With this privacy statement, we inform our customers about the processing of their personal information.

Personal information is used

  • To enable both private and corporate customers and employees to operate a personalized customer service and workplace.

 

The information is processed in accordance with the customer relationship between the customer and WorkBuddy Oy and the provision of services based on the customer's separate express consent or legal obligations.

4. How data is protected and stored

​

All personal data is protected against unauthorized access and accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, transfer or other unlawful processing.

WorkBuddy Oy stores customer data in the EU. The technical security of the systems and servers follows good security practices. Servers are protected against intrusions and denial-of-service attacks, and systems that contain personal information are protected by access control.

 

We follow data protection policies in the processing of personal data and technical solutions.

All access to personal information is controlled in accordance with the required policies.

5. Who processes the data

Only WorkBuddy Oy's own employees involved in the provision of services have access to customer data. Staff are instructed and trained to use the information safely.

The requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation have been taken into account with all employees and data processors.

6. Data Retention

​

We will only retain your personal information for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this leaflet. In addition, some information may be retained for longer to the extent necessary to fulfill and demonstrate the proper performance of statutory obligations, such as accounting and consumer trade responsibilities.

At the customer's request, personal data concerning him or her may be deleted from WorkBuddy Oy's systems. The deletion is irrevocable and we cannot recover deleted personal information.

7. Customer or Employee Rights

The employee has the right to:

  • Get a copy of your personal information

  • Requests the correction or deletion of personal information about you

  • Under certain conditions, request a restriction on processing or object to the processing of personal data

 

In addition, if the processing is based on a separate consent, the customer has the option to revoke the consent. However, this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent. You can change your consent by contacting us. The request must be sufficiently identified for us to verify your identity. In addition, we may need other certificates, such as an ID card, to identify the person. We will notify you if we are unable to comply with your request in any way, such as deleting any information that we have a legal obligation or right to retain.

 

 

8. Disclosure of information to third parties

We may disclose some of the necessary information to third parties to ensure the correct and quality service. If necessary, we also provide information to the authorities. We will always inform the customer or employee about requests for information, if this is permitted by law.

 

WorkBuddy Oy ensures a high level of data security and protection when transferring and processing data in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation.

Due to the development of the services and changes in legislation, we reserve the right to change the privacy statement. Significant changes to the privacy statement will be notified to registered customers when the terms are updated.
